Buffers
The innovative buffers are cost efficient alternatives for emergency stop application. They are made from special elastomer. They constantly absorb energies in areas; in which other materials fail. The excellent dumping (shock absorbing) characteristics are achieved as a result of special elastomer material and design. They are designed to absorb the emerging energy with dumping cure that is declining.
These are low cost options for reducing the collusion speed and reducing the shock loading & providing system dumping. These devices have high stopping forces at end of the stroke with significant internal dumping. The inherent properties of elastomer are useful in preventing excessive vibration amplitude at resonance – much reduced compared to metal spring.
